Tiffany & Co. GIA 17.06 Ct D Internally Flawless Type IIA Cushion Diamond Ring

This one-of-a-kind piece features a 17.06 carat Type IIa elongated cushion brilliant diamond with D color and Internally Flawless clarity. This incredible diamond is mounted in a custom pave platinum mounting by American jeweler Tiffany and is stamped "TIFFANY & CO PT950 19794474". Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure of all diamonds, and lack the traces of nitrogen that give most diamonds their color and inclusions. These are the rarest of all white diamonds, and though "D - Flawless" is the highest grade awarded by the GIA, most diamond experts agree that Type IIa stones appear much whiter and more brilliant than any other diamonds. Purchase includes the original Tiffany & Co. velvet box. Also included is GIA Diamond Grading Report 1162107709, which states that the diamond is D color and Internally Flawless clarity, as well as a letter from GIA classifying the 17.06 carat cushion as Type IIa.
