F/W 1997 Gucci by Tom Ford Runway Black Fox Fur Chubby Museum Coat
Tom Ford's most lusted-after designs during his tenure at the house of Gucci. This oversized black fox fur chubby coat debuted on Fall/Winter 1997 runway presentation on Kylie Bax. The coat is lined in matching black 'GG' monogram fabric and features an open style with two large front pockets and built-in shoulder pads. This incredible piece also appeared on Carolyn Murphy in the July 1997 issue of US Vogue in the Euroflash editorial, shot by Steven Meisel, and on Eva Herzigova in the October 1997 issue of Harper's Bazaar in the 'fur day & night' editorial. Alessandro Michele reintroduced a faux-fur version of this iconic coat for Gucci's Pre-Fall 2022 collection on look number 100, but you can buy the real deal only at TheRealList!
